Tomorrow I turn 34, and apparently we're using this week's episode to process allllll the feelings about that in real time. 😂
I've always looked at my birthday as my own personal New Year - a chance to reflect on who I've become, what's changed, what I've created, and what I want for the year ahead. And while I have SO much to be grateful for and genuinely love about my life, I'm also navigating the reality that some things don't look quite how I imagined they would by this age.
Especially in my business.
This episode is a very real, very unfiltered look at the patterns I've been recognizing around worthiness, control, trust, and receiving - and the realization that I might be ready to break up with the version of myself who's been holding on so fucking tightly to how everything needs to happen.
 
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Turning 34, using my birthday as a personal New Year, and navigating the gap between the life I imagined and the one I'm actually living
Feeling incredibly grateful for my life while still finding myself in the messy middle of some big shifts
Revisiting my worthiness wound and recognizing how often I've looked to my business to prove my value
What I've been learning about my undefined centers in Human Design and how that's helping me understand some of my patterns
Why the same limiting beliefs keep showing up even when you thought you'd already worked through that shit
Recognizing that taking action has become my safe place - and learning to question whether I'm acting from alignment or a need for control
Why intentionally doing LESS has felt so uncomfortable, even when I know it's what I need
Learning to trust myself, my work, and my business when things are going WELL - not just trusting that I can handle things when they're hard
My relationship with receiving support and challenging the belief that I have to constantly DO something to deserve more
How my eldest-daughter energy, perfectionism, over-planning, and need to be responsible for everything have followed me into entrepreneurship
The parallels between reclaiming my freedom after my divorce and what I'm now ready to reclaim in my business
Why I'm ready to draw a line in the sand, let go of the fucking chokehold I've had on my business, and rewrite the rules - even if I don't know exactly what that looks like yet
Because here's what I'm realizing: I don't have to wait for my circumstances to change before I decide to change how I'm showing up within them.
I don't have to keep proving that I'm worthy, that my work is valuable, or that I'm doing enough. I don't have to keep taking action just to feel like I'm in control. And I definitely don't have to keep following rules I created for myself that no longer serve the woman I'm becoming.
Maybe turning 34 is my line-in-the-sand moment. Maybe this is where I finally decide that I'm done doing business this way - even before I know what comes next.
And maybe there's a version of that decision waiting for you, too.

There’s a weird-ass space that exists when you know you’ve changed internally... but your external reality hasn’t fully caught up yet.
And sheeesh, have I been living in it 😂

There’s the strategy... and then there’s becoming the woman who can actually hold the standard, make the decision, trust herself, and lead from that place.
This one is a very real-time look at what expansion actually feels like when you’re inside of it - not six months later when you can package it into a pretty lesson and tell everyone how it all worked out.
